Officer Involved in BART Shooting Arrested

Johannes Mehserle, 27, the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit District) cop who shot to death an unarmed man, Oscar Grant, 22, almost two weeks ago was charged today with intentionally killing Grant. The shooting has created outrage in the community.

Mehserle was arrested in Douglas County, Nevada Tuesday. He waived extradition, and was returned to the Bay Area today.
