Breaking News: Edwards Quits Presidential Race

In New Orleans, Louisiana, John Edwards has announced that he is dropping out of the 2008 presidential race, which- as expected- leaves the two front-runners, New York senator Hillary Clinton and Illinois senator Barack Obama in what will be a bloodbath from this point on.

Edwards says that he has told both front runners that they have pledged that ending poverty and making equality priorities in the 2008 presidential campaign.

The other hopeful, New Hampshire senator Mike Gravel, is still in this fight. However, he's not getting much love from fellow Democrats.
