I knew that the members of the Fundamental Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ were nut jobs- after all, the older males marry girls as young as...I don't know, nine, perhaps, and they have this misogynist streak. But, I never really knew that these fuckos were racists- yes, I saw pictures of lily white faces and women dressed as if they were living in the days of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House on the Prairie series. That is, not until last night.
Black people are really white sinners cursed by that permanent tan? To their credit, the Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ- aka Mormons- did see the light and told the FLDS where to go. But the fact that these racist and woman-beating types even exist makes me wonder, would I feel safer around Scientologists?

The raid on the El Dorado, Texas compound Tuesday may have saved over 400 children and women, but the tragic thing is that just about all of them have been so brainwashed, it'll probably be years before they realize and appreciate what Texas authorities- and most importantly, the young 16-year-old woman who called (and who remains missing, as is the 50 year old man she accused)- bit. Sadly, however, there are many more Fundamental Latter Day Saints compounds in other areas of the country.
All I can say is that the FLDS is a pedophiles dream religion.

I Know That You're Pissed That You Lost To Kansas, But...
Two student athletes from Portland State University- basketball players Jeremiah Dominquez, who plays guard, and Scott Morrison- apparently got into a fight with a student from Lansing, Michigan in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Morrison allegedly beat Kyle Meagher, 23, with a baseball bat. Dominquez got arrested when he ran. Meagher's in a Mexican hospital recovering. Both Dominquez and Morrison had their charges dropped after Morrison's parents reached a financial agreement with Meagher's family.
How's that for Mexican justice? Kind of makes you wonder if the fact that the two PSU players got favorable treatment just because they appeared on TV in some basketball tournament. Or if the federales made some bribery deal with the parties? Of course, here in America, the two players would likely face justice in court and do some time being bars. But, in Mexico, it appears that you can beat someone up and- for the right amount of dinero or peso- make it all pretty and go away.
Tell that to Kyle Meagher, who has a broken jaw and has internal bleeding.

It's Bracket Time Again, Baby!
The 2008 NCAA Division I Men's basketball Tournament is afoot!
Tomorrow night, Coppin State and Mount St. Mary's will battle for the right to get its' ass chewed up by the #1 East seed, North Carolina Tar Heels. No doubt this will be a fun time, over the next two weeks. Teams that no one has heard of- including our own Portland State Vikings- get to play Cinderella (and in the Vikes case, spoiler to the #1 Midwest seed, Kansas Jayhawks in Omaha on Thursday). But in the end, one team will emerge as victor on April 7 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
Yahoo is saying that UCLA will win the championship. I admit, I have some bias for the Tar Heels., but UCLA looks way too good, and I don't doubt that the Bruins will win. But North Carolina will give them a run for their money.

Hello, Kristen.
A young woman who goes by the name of Kristen- real name Ashley Alexandra Dupre- is apparently the young hottie who brought the political career of New York governor Eliot Laurence 'Client #9' Spitzer's career to a crashing end.
Spitzer, as we all know, has been linked to a federal case concerning the Emperor's Club VIP, a high class prostitution ring. According to a section of the 47-page document releases to the public, 'Client #9' met 'Kristen' met at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC on February 13 and 14, and collected $4300 in cash.
OOOOOH, BABY! The governor and his young date doing da nasty in DC.
You can read this New York Times story by just clicking here to http://nytimes.com/2008/03/13/nyregion/12cnd-kristen.html?_r=1&oref=slogin , as well as the link to WCBS-TV, by just clicking on the title.
No doubt, I know of two adult magazines that are fighting for first dibs on Kristen. All i can ask of Hugh and Larry is, "boys, please be civil."
(Then again, let the scuffle for first rights begin. I love nasty fights. And I love scandals, too)
Of course, the legal ramifications of Mr. Spitzer's actions could go far beyond his not keeping his end on keeping government clean. Let's see the shit list 'Client #9 could face:
(Source WCBS-TV New York)
Court documents say that he may have spent up to $80,000 on escort services. OUCH!
If convicted, he could serve a year in jail for being a john, and up to 20 years for money laundering.
In a sense, he's getting a taste of his own medicine- after all, he's the dumbass who raised the penalty for soliciting hookers.
Tsk, tsk, tsk...

(Source WCBS-TV New York)
- Money laundering for trying to conceal the source and recipient of financial transactions
- Tax evasion, if he was an all-knowing party to an all-cash business that wasn't filing taxes
- Violation of the Mann act for paying for the trip from New York to DC by the call girl known as 'Kristen' (The Mann Act prohibits interstate transport of sex slaves, and/or prostitutes)
- Misuse of state resources, if he used his state-issued credit card for hotels or meals with prostitutes as well as if he was being protected by State Troopers during his dalliances...and finally...
- Soliciting prostitution

'Client 9' Resigns as New York Governor
barryfunnytv/YouTube
Even bad singing sounds good when the news of New York governor Eliot 'Client #9' Spitzer's resignation hits the wire.
topnewsmakers/YouTube
Spitzer will step down by Monday. His lieutenant governor, David Paterson, will take the oath of office of governor and will be the state's first black governor.
A lot of women around America are, however, asking, "How could Silda (Spitzer's wife) stand by this bum?" Cue Tammy Wynette:

Of course, privately, I bet Silda is conferring with her divorce lawyers. But divorce may be the least of his troubles. He may be facing criminal charges- after all, in many jurisdictions, prostitution is illegal. And if he is indeed convicted for promoting the world's oldest profession, he could be wearing prison pinstripes- and probably changing his name to 'Ellen'.

A footnote to this: I'm reading the 47 page document now. I skimmed through the part where 'Client #9' met with one of the defendants (let's just say that the first name may imply that this woman is black...didn't know that Client #9 Spitz liked dark meat better...). I'm actually up to page 19, but if you can't wait that long, go to page 26, part 'b'- February 13, 2008, Interstate Transportation From New York to Washington, DC.
