Shooting at Northern Illinois University

Right now, officials are wondering why a man, dressed in black jeans and beanie cap, shot eighteen- four of them are dead- students before killing himself at Northern Illinois University, in Dekalb, 65 miles outside of Chicago. The shooter was a white male and not a student at NIU, and there is no motive known at this time.

This shooting happened at around 3:00PM Central Time (1:00PM Pacific Time) in a lecture hall, Cole Hall.

It must be noted that this shooting took place almost a year after the horrific massacre, where Seung Cho killed 32 of his fellow students before killing himself.
