Come Monday, the Oregon Domestic Partnership law, that was passed by the Oregon Legislature, and challenged by an out-of-state opposition group, will become law.
Judge Michael Mosman, who initially put the law on hold, stated that the opponents to the law, Alliance Defense Fund, had indeed failed to gather the necessary number of signatures.
So, hats off to you Judge Mosman (I forgive you for hanging around President Bush too long...), and Basic Rights oregon. Now all couples- gay and straight- can enjoy the rights that marriage and domestic partnerships can offer.
