The conservative website WorldNetDaily.com reports that James Dobson, the head of Focus on the Family will not endorse to Arizona senator John McCain for president, citing McCain's lack of support for a federal marriage amendment.
No skin off McCain's ass.
Here's the latest standings:
McCain 3-4, .428, 97 delegates
Romney 4-7, .571, 92
Huckabee 1-6, .143, 29
Paul 0-7, .000, 6
I'm not posting the Democratic standings because they didn't hold a primary in Maine-they'll hold theirs February 10.
In the meantime, Super Tuesday is the focus of attention. McCain could pretty much lock up the Republican nomination on Tuesday, according to some sources. However, on the Democrats' side, the slugfrest between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama could go on past tomorrow. Thing is, if Clinton wins at least 12 of the states, she'll retain her lead. On the other hand, if Obama wins at least 11, he could snatch the slim lead from Clinton. So this is anybody's fight.
