It looks like Fred Thompson may return to acting now that he has dropped out pf the Republican presidential race.
After finishing third in the South Carolina GOP race, and on the eve of the forthcoming Florida showdown, Thompson called it quits today stating that he hopes "my country and my party have benefited from our having made this effort..."
So now that Thompson is out of the race, who will he support? It's still a free for all between McCain, Romney, and Huckabee, with McCain gaining new steam off wins in South Carolina and New Hampshire.
Perhaps Thompson didn't use enough Metamucil.
