Sarah Palin's Daughter- Talk About Republican Family Values

Just when I thought I wasted enough ink on the wicked bitch from Alaska, here comes another piece of good news.

As we all know, Sarah's eldest daugther Bristol, who all of seventeen and unmarried, is preggers! Yes! Five months pregnant!

And here I was thinking, Republicans are perfect shiny little people. You know, upright, God-fearing, and patriotic folk. While I believe this- at least the majority of the time, there are times when I sometimes wonder otherwise. After all, there was that Larry Craig fiasco of last year when he had a same sex tryst with an undercover cop in the Twin Cities (which, in a twist of irony, the GOP is holding their convention there this week). Then there was that preacher Ted Haggard who had his own man love circle. Probably explains why his old church got shot up this past winter.

You know, the Republicans would have us think that good girls don't have babies out of wedlock. Oh, no. Not Republican girls, just those nasty, slutty Democratic and Independent girls. Republicans don't abort their kids...well, except when they find out that the daughter was knocked up by a person of the opposite race. Then, they'll just sweep it under the rug and say, "We regret to report that our daughter Susie has miscarried." They fail to mention that Susie had help in that miscarriage.

To her credit, Bristol seems to want to carry the child to term. But I must say, baby girl, you've picked a hell of a time to get knocked up. After all, dear ol' mum's trying to be the first woman Vice President of the United States. How does this look for, not only the Palin family, but also Republican family values altogether? Have you thought about that, Bristol, baby?

Of course, if Sarah and Bristol were Democrats, they'd definitely be demonized for allowing such a travesty to happen. Oh, well. There's just no pleasing the GOP, is there?
